Accessibility
Equal opportunities for cultural participation are important for the Humboldt Labor. The Humboldt Labor makes science accessible, so all-inclusive offers are a matter of course. Tactile models at the entrance make orientation easier, a tactile guidance system takes visitors round the exhibition and audio tours explain the central ideas. The Cluster of Excellence Temporal Communities of Freie Universität Berlin has developed a special audio tour that is aimed at all visitors. Under the title "Overtexted", selected objects from the exhibition enter into a dialogue with literary and non-literary quotations and comments. This audio guide is not connected to the floor guidance system, so it cannot be used by visually impaired people without accompaniment.
We constantly endeavour to improve accessibility on-site and online and welcome feedback, queries and suggestions
